HYPERHIDROSIS – EXCESSIVE SWEAT
The surfaces of the armpits, palms, forehead and shoulders, groin and the back of the neck are most susceptible to intense sweating.
Increased sweating of the feet (hyperhidrosis of the feet) occurs as a result of increased secretion of sweat glands. The effects are manifested in the form of sweating, unpleasant odors, the appearance of eczema, bacterial and fungal infections.
Therapy: surgical method, application of appropriate medications, blocking of sweating with the use of botulinum toxin – botox. In this case, botox acts on the sweat glands, so the secretion of sweat is significantly reduced or stopped (it works for 7 – 12 months).
