Eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) – OPEN VIEW – WITH NEW SHUTTERS!

Eyelid surgery – Blepharoplasty is an aesthetic surgical procedure performed on the upper and lower eyelids in order to:

  • REMOVE SKIN REMOVAL ON UPPER SHUTTERS

(which usually prevents normal viewing and reading, while the aesthetic problem is reflected in inadequate makeup and excess skin over the eyelashes).

  • REMOVING OIL PADS UNDER LOWER LIDS

Dropsical, swollen, “tired” eyelids are a common feature of many faces of different ages. Many complain about the feeling of “weight” in the eyelids, stating that they have a tired and sleepy appearance throughout the day. The reasons for the formation of bulging eyelids are many:

  • hereditary,
  • the aging process and
  • certain conditions or chronic diseases of the organism.

Hereditary ones are most commonly expressed in young women, first in adolescence, then in their late twenties and thirties.

Blepharoplasty is usually performed under local anesthesia and the patient is kept under the supervision of a physician for several hours after the procedure and then discharged for home care. The patient may have increased tear formation and/or foreign body sensation in the eyes for several days. Bruises and swellings usually last 10 to 14 days.

The characteristic of this procedure is the complete absence of postoperative pain and there is no need for the use of analgesics. Patients may feel a slight pressure in the projection of the eyelids. There is no need for preventive taking of antibiotics as postoperative infections in the face and neck are very rare. Patients usually sleep on their back with an elevated headboard for several postoperative weeks.

After eyelid surgery, patients look younger, have a cheerful and cheerful look!

The operation is short-lived, comfortable for the patient, and the result is excellent. After blepharoplasty we get more beautiful eyelids and also larger and more pronounced eyes.
